Spreader Fertilizer Seed

I'm trying to decide on a broadcast spreader for the 3 point hitch on my JD 955 (27 hp to the PTO). I have reviewed the Land Pride FS1000 (673 lb. capacity), Frontier SS1067B (678 lb.) capacity, Herd 750 (750 lb. capacity) and the Vicon PS 303 (600 lb. capacity). All have various price points:

Frontier: $550
Land Pride: $500
Herd: $850
Vicon: $1,700

The use and application: I have about 4.5 acres of field that has been mowed with a finish mower the past two years. The field is in desperate need of lime and fertilizer in anticipation of putting cattle on it next season. I would like to have a spreader with a capacity of the ones referenced above.

I would appreciate any input on any or all of these models and what the best one is for my application. Price is really not an issue. I just want a good spreader that will last.

I can't comment on much being I have never used on of these,
but I do believe the Landpride is the same as typical spreaders found at TSC and other farm supply store for 300-400 bucks.
They are made in Italy for all kinds of brands.

whatever you decide on keep it well lubricated by spraying it down with diesel fuel. ....

I found one at a farm auction for $250.00 its blue no name but it works just like the rest of them it will hold 5 50 lb bags of grass seed. ....
